GRANTS - REBATES - INCENTIVES

Ontario Home Energy Savings Program (OHESP)

How much will I get back?

GET UP TO $5,000 in rebates for your home’s retrofit. The Government of Ontario will help pay for the retrofit your home needs.

You will also be reimbursed up to 50% of the pre-retrofit assessment cost from the province of Ontario up to $150.

How do I qualify for grants and rebates?

To qualify for the rebates, you need to first complete a Home Energy Audit with a certified energy advisor. After this audit, you have 18 months or by March 31, 2011, whichever comes first to make some or all of the upgrades your advisor recommends. After completing the work, you need to contact Building System Solutions for the post-retrofit assessment. You will receive rebates for the amounts allowed for each eligible upgrade you make, up to $5,000, even if you do the work yourself.

How do I apply for government grants or rebates?

Building System Solutions certified energy advisors will apply for the grants on your behalf after you have completed your energy efficient upgrades and your home has been re-assessed. Your energy advisor will be able to tell you exactly how much you can expect to receive.
